No CommentsOnce a person is assessed by the medical institution in the period of 24 hours, if determined to not need treatment, you go home. Conversely, if determined to remain hospitalized, is given to the person requesting an initial certification. This certification must be carried to the Court that issued the arrest warrant Temporary 24 hours to then apply this to issue a new order called the Order of Involuntary Admission to the person needing mental health services remain hospitalized for a period of up to 15 days . When necessary, may apply for extension of stay for no longer than the period of fifteen (15) additional days. This will require a second certification.
