The capital’s attorney undertook to guarantee the exercise of the functions of human rights defenders, through an agreement that has already been published in the Official Gazette of the Federal District Government.
That agreement is called a Guidelines regarding the investigation and integration of previous investigations where people are involved human rights defenders and victims of crime by the exercise of their duties or by reason of them.
The agreement will enter into force on May 23, establishes the obligation of the capital’s attorney to provide adequate research, integration and determination of the preliminary investigation when the exercise of their functions against defenders of human rights.
Also instructs the Central Research Office for the Care of Special Affairs and Election to be the instance that you know, investigate and address the hearings in which victims are people with these functions.
The agreement settles the Attorney A/010/2010 for Victims of Crime and Community Services provides medical and psychological support to victims, offended or witnesses, and then monitor the investigation and prosecution, including the repair of damage.
Also instructs the Attorney Legal and Human Rights, through the Directorate General of Human Rights to follow up on preliminary investigations started, detailed the Attorney General of the Federal District (PGJDF).
The agreement issued by the head of the agency, Miguel Ángel Mancera, fixed the Directorate General for Policy and Crime Statistics to develop a database of previous investigations in which people are involved as victims of human rights defenders.
He added that the General Coordination of Expert Services and the Cyber Police General Headquarters of Police Research shall ensure the assistance of experts in various subjects for the investigation of crime.

In the fourth Latin American Congress on Health and Sexual and Reproductive Rights, held from 10 to 12 April in Montevideo, Uruguay, health professionals, activists and government officials from the Americas gathered to share their experiences and to appeal to a greater commitment to improving the health of women throughout the region.
The 2008 conference focused on meeting the UN Millennium Development Goals related to sexual and reproductive health of women. In panels, discussions and presentations explored the ways to avoid unsafe abortion, improving maternal health, promoting access to birth control contraceptives, decrease sexual violence, sexual education programs to establish holistic and improving access to women health services.
