PART Program Has Ended: How to Stay in Touch  
The grant that funded the SPORE Patient Advocate Research Team (PART) ended in November 2007, but many PART teams continue to function at individual SPOREs across the country.

A summary of the PART Program was produced, and is available here.

In addition, patient advocates are invited to join PAIR: Patient Advocates In Research. A PAIR information sheet gives an overview of this international network. You can also sign up for the PAIR email list by contacting Deborah Collyar, President of PAIR, at collyar@att.net.

Workshop on ‘Clinical Trials & People’ Now Downloadable  
The PART Program has developed a customizable workshop in conjunction with the University of Arizona GI SPORE that establishes a dialog about clinical trials and advocacy with special communities. Information on how to develop and implement the Clinical Trials & People workshop is now available for all SPOREs and Cancer Centers. More information about the workshop is listed in this article.
